Hello! I am Mridula and today the book I am going to tell you about is the third book in the Divergent series- Allegiant. So, I would like to repeat to you what i have been telling you in my previous summaries for the first two books in this series, I do not like talking about the book in this series. I am not a particular fan of this series but, I am writing for the benefit of my readers and not mine. Without any further delay, let’s get this show on the road.
Allegiant is the book mainly when Tris, Four and few of their friends decide to venture out of the boundaries of Chicago to see what is past the wall. They also break Tris’s brother out of prison and take him with them. When they reach the other side of the wall they see that it is a barren life with no signs of life for miles. However, after travelling some distance they do find the first signs of life. From there they reach to an entire city in the middle of the barren desert. The head of the city wants Tris’s help to conduct some experiments. However, on one hand Tris starts liking the city and its people, Four starts questioning the methods of the army and finds a few dark secrets about them.
To tell you, out of the three books this is the one I like the most. I would say that the plot is interesting as compared to the other books. It is not also written in the over exaggerating style of the author. This is one book that is actually a bit more mild than the others. However, Tris still says the same overreacting girl, who just has to make a big deal out of everything. Peter being Peter, shows his greed again and as usual changes sides.
While focusing on genre, I can say that there is action and adventure but not that much to satisfy my necessities in a book. Also, there is no humour because of the presence of Tris (thats girl is no fun to be around). So, I will only tell you to read this book if you are curious or accidentally read the first two books.
